Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert who appears on CNN and HLN's numerous platforms. Additionally, she serves as the co-executive and on-camera producer for a DIY NETWORK TV show called Last House Running that aired on in March of 2012. Her debut book, EXTREME WEEKEND was published by Palgrave Macmillan in January 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. In Boston Schneider was an all-day, week-long special assignment journalist who covered entertainment and lifestyle. Before joining WB56, she worked as the weekend meteorologist for WFOR-TV in Miami. She's had a number of meteorology and reporting positions including: News 12 Long Island which is a 24 hour cable news TV network and WXII-TV, the NBC affiliate located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was also a regular guest for The Saturday Early Show, she was meteorologist at CBS in New York City.
