Jillian Noel Hennessy
Jillian Noel Hennessy was born on November 25 in 1968. She is a Canadian singer, actress and musician. She is best known for her role as Claire Kincaid, a US prosecutor on Law & Order for three seasons. Crossing Jordan was six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh, the lead character on Crossing Jordan, lasted six seasons. She also appeared in movies such as RoboCop 3 & Most Wanted and independent film Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. The film was directed and written by her. Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy, John's father, was a marketing and meat sales/marketing executive. The job required significant travel and meant that the family was required to relocate frequently. Her mother, Maxine, a secretary, left the family in 1982, leaving her daughter partially raised by her paternal grandmother Eleanor who lives located in Kitchener, Ontario. John Paul Hennessy Jr. is her younger brother. Jacqueline is her identical twin sister and is a journalist from Canada and host. Hennessy is of Irish, French, Swedish and Italian heritage from her father's side, and mainly Ukrainian Roma, as well as Austrian and Austrian ancestry from her mother's side. She was a student at Stanley Park Senior Public School. Grand River Collegiate Institute was where she graduated. She was a busker in Toronto's subway. She and her sister made their acting debut as twin callgirls on 1988's Dead Ringers. She was short listed to play Dana Scully on The X-Files according to Gillian Anderson, the actress who ultimately got the role.She was on Broadway in the musical Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story in 1990.In 1993, she starred as Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3.In 1993, Dick Wolf signed Hennessy as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid in the NBC crime drama Law & Order. The role lasted for three seasons, and then being removed from the series as an actor in 1996.
